Our participants from abroad arrive in Istanbul and are lodged in the Şile Campus of Işık University.
Booked for a group tour of Istanbul for the entire day.
Turkish participants shall deliver their Maslak Ayazağa campus session (TURKISH). Nazenin Group concert with Mehmet Güntekin's part as soloist in the beginning takes place in the afternoon, while Tolgahan Çoğulu & Sinan Cem Eroğlu Guitar Duo, in the evening of the same day.
Starting with Barış Bozkurt's Turkish presentation, our foreign guests deliver a courtesy session (ENGLISH) to their Işık hosts in Ayazağa Campus. Betwixt that shall be a "Exemplification of Anatolian Folk music" concert, where Ekrem Ataer and Savaş Karaman shall audition a duo saz repertory. At the end, Hakan Ali Toker shall give a recital on piano specially tuned to makams.
Group departure to Ankara and settling in the guest rooms of Başkent University.
Foreign guests conduct the third session in Başkent University (ENGLISH). Hakan Ali Toker and Kamerhan Turan perform quartertone pieces from Charles Ives.
Group tour of Ankara for our foreign guests at the same time as the courtesy repeat session (TURKISH) by Turks, and Academic Başkent orchestral concert in the evening of the same day. Also, Tolgahan Çoğulu & Sinan Cem Eroğlu duo perform a courtesy recital (repeat of Istanbul).
Participants and artists depart home.
